Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible pace car for Indy 500 2011
The Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible to be the official pace car Indianapolis 500 taking place on May 29th, the competition celebrates its legendary first century just as Chevrolet. Of course, the Camaro convertible pace car will not be quite like the others, there is the outdoor program: white paint "White Summit" with orange stripes and graphics at the door. Inside there are leather and inlaid white and orange logos and "Indy 500 " stitched on the seats. All based on the 1969 Camaro pace car. 50 units will be manufactured, one of which will be sold by Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 22. The fruit of this auction will go entirely to the association David Foster Foundation which provides assistance to families whose children require organ transplantation.
