Detroit 2011: Hyundai Concept Curb, to counter the Nissan Juke
Hyundai showed his bike station at the opening of the Detroit show has also introduced a concept car called the Curb. From its original forms, the crossover seems to directly confront the recent Nissan Juke which is said to have marked the minds and aroused a lot of orders. Koreans are determined to invest all niches.
The Curb deploys the design language called Fluidic sculpture on the theme of a small compact crossover aimed at a younger than usual. Officials of the Korean state that wanted an urban vehicle that does not look like a truck transporting money, hence the tortured lines of the Curb. The engine is the new 1.6-liter 4-cylinder that produces 175 hp with the addition of a turbo, the power spreads to the road via 22-inch wheels with Michelin road. The new 6-speed dual-clutch box is also part of the highway and consumption would fall under the 6l/100km.
The machine is adapted to its customers as an integrated bicycle carrier is hiding in the back when, as on the bike station, two small doors facilitate access to the rear while a roof rack provides storage originals. The interior features a large touchscreen and a head-up display shows GPS data and the images of mirrors. The technology package grouped under the label Blue Link is also in the game.
This Curb HCD12 is otherwise known as indicated by its code name the twelfth office concept of American design from Hyundai.

New Car: 2012 Nissan Sunny

Sales of luxury cars may be on the rise in China, but plenty of buyers in the country’s automotive market are still looking for simple, affordable cars. Perhaps that’s why Nissan used the 2010 China International Automobile Exhibition to show off its all-new 2011 Sunny subcompact sedan.
Although the nameplate has been used on a wide array of Nissans since the early 1970s, this is the second time the Sunny name has been tied to a compact sedan tailor-made for price-conscious, emerging automotive markets. Like the last-generation Sunny Neo, the new Sunny will be built in China by Nissan’s joint venture with Chinese firm Dongfeng, but that’s where the similarities end.
While the last Chinese-built Sunny was an evolution of Nissan’s compact Pulsar range, the new 2011 Sunny is built atop a modified version of the Micra platform. Designers have blessed the car with rather dramatic sheetmetal, which bears some resemblance to larger offerings like the Sentra and Altima. Inside, the car’s interior is largely identical to the Micra’s cabin, although the new offering receives reshaped door panels, new seat fabrics, a redesigned instrument cluster, and a different (re: simpler) radio design.
Underneath the skin, the Sunny is a mechanical clone of the Micra. MacPherson struts are fitted up front while a simple (re: low-cost) beam axle is employed in back. The only engine offering at this point is a 1.5-liter I-4, which sends power to the front wheels either via a five-speed manual gearbox or an optional CVT.
Although the Sunny will be sold in a number of different countries, production will primarily be based in the Nissan-Dongfeng plant in Guangzhou, China. Although the Micra may potentially have a future in North America, the Sunny — which carries a price tag of roughly $12,400 — will most likely remain abroad.

Unofficial Picture: Nissan Compact Saloon

Known as the Sunny internationally, but probably not in India, you can see no trace of the Micra in the design of this car. The sedan gets a new nose, a new rear and even the roof looks totally different. The lines are long and flowing and there is plenty of Nissan DNA in the styling as well; the Teana-like kink in the ‘C’ pillar, the vertical orientation of the headlights, the strong shoulder line and especially the rake of the tail-lights.
Nissan will use a lot of the Micra’s interior bits for this car though. The round central console pod will be carried over, the vents are similar, and the steering is the same too. Nissan will also use the Micra’s very comfortable front seats for the saloon. The rear bench, however, will be all new. The wheelbase has been extended slightly to 2500mm from the Micra’s 2450mm to give passengers more room in the rear.
Nissan’s V-platform focuses on reductions in both weight and in the number of components, and we expect there will be a considerable advantage reaped here. The light weight will allow for greater performance, better efficiency and lower stress on the suspension. And as with the Micra, efficiency could be better than or match the best in class.
Powering the car will be a 1498cc four-cylinder petrol engine churning out a healthy 100bhp. The motor doesn’t make too much torque though, at 13.8kgm, but the light weight of the car should help it compete with cars like the VW Vento on an equal footing. An 83bhp diesel engine will also be available and here torque is a very healthy 20.3kgm. Famous for its incredible frugality and robustness, this motor will be Nissan’s ace, fine-tuned to give even more economy and power.
The ‘New Global Sedan’ is expected to make its Indian debut in September 2011, and will be rolled out from Nissan’s plant at Oragadam, Chennai. You can expect on- road prices to start at Rs 7.5lakh for the base petrol, going up to Rs 10lakh for the top-of-the-line diesel. And there’s even the likelihood of a CVT automatic-equipped version being sold as a range topper.

Nissan GTR 2011, with 530 hp Porsche is to challenge

Wearing any adjective, but no comparison around. With a look outside the box to do so much school, with a mechanical way over the top to inspire customers to sports they never thought of Nissan.
After three years after its debut, when a normal car would already be "known", with a revitalized Nissan GTR 2011 model year that throws the flames of envy of others 55 more hp and even an advanced mode "Save" to save fuel, and not on board any of a jewel.
Planned debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November, arriving in Italy by February 2011, but is also subject to the Bologna Motorshow. The new 2011 GTR is going to a real technical update as you would with a race car, while maintaining naturalness of the beautiful car drivable every day as very few sports, or just Porsche. Rival is no coincidence.
New bumpers front and rear, details which increase the aerodynamic efficiency at high speed along with unusual interior, with more comfortable seats and an instrument panel reviewed in some detail. But clearly this is not the key to the problem.
The admiration for Nissan GTR melts, indeed crumble in the face of the additional 55 hp Japanese technicians have managed to squeeze the already sophisticated 3.8-liter V6 turbo gasoline, which now goes from 485 to 530 hp of maximum power at 6,400 rpm maintaining a torque of 612 Nm available from 3,200 to 6,000 rpm.
Change the cover of the magazine, now in red, but the numerous certificates in particular a further gain in the stretch while the proverbial push and drive to recovery in this model. All this with a new Save feature, which provides a more careful operation of the engine and gearbox, allowing the order to touch an average consumption of 8.5 l/100 km. Which is officially "not" on board a car that we remember to have a four wheel drive system between the fastest and most responsive in the world.
In Model Year 2011 program will also confirm the special series, first, the sporty GT-R SpecV 2011 with an adjustment of the engine that keeps the 530 hp but raises the maximum torque of 632 Nm to debut in Europe instead GT-R versions Egoist, with full leather interior and more luxury, but GT-R Track Club, in no uncertain terms designed for use only on the track.
