Civic Coupe and Sedan at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show today, and the automaker says that along with mildly updated exteriors, both vehicles will wear improved interiors compared to the current-generation Civic.

Special series of Honda CR-Z - Car of the Year Japan 2010 2011

Honda put a special short series the CR-Z on the market in Japan.
The series is in honor of winners of the model Car of the Year 2011 'and the name is understandable CR-Z Memorial Award Edition. The car is painted in sapphire blue and has new wheels measuring 16 inches and five double spokes. It also includes the inscription denoting the Honda special edition. Interior design in gray , which makes the car look pretty cozy. The pedals are aluminum, giving a more sporty interior. Special model CR-Z is a satellite navigation. This model will be only 1000 pieces, all destined for the market in Japan. Honda CR-Z Memorial Award Edition will be available from early next year, will cost 2.8 million yen (about 34,200 dollars).

Honda Pilot 2011: Recall in Canada

About 442 Honda Pilot 2011 will be recalled in order to prevent a potential breach of the front suspension.

A software error in the machinery used to tighten the hub nuts on the front axle and the bolts securing the shock was reported as the source of the recall.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and will be asked to go to the dealer for inspection and replacement of parts.

The recall also affects some American cars Agreement, but no Canadian version.

Honda launches the new Civic to America: At the Detroit Auto Show (15 to 23 January 2011) show the Japanese a study of the ninth generation of compact car. So far the manufacturer has been published only a sketch of the car.

Honda itself speaks for the design of the new Civic from a slender aerodynamic lines. The drawing shows that the lines of its predecessor, will continue. However, the car seems to be wide and sturdy to stand on the street. A large lower air intake, arrow-shaped inwardly tapered headlights and the headlights placed air vents give the Civic a sporty look. The positioning of the daytime running lights in the outer lower corners of the face, pulls the car visually more in width. The rising belt line, combined with the coupe roof can study the dynamic effect.

John Mendelsohn, president of Honda North America, will unveil the Civic's degree at the Auto Show in Detroit 2012th However, the study will probably be very close to production - the production model is in the U.S. in the spring of 2011 in the sale.

First Sketch: Honda Civic Concept

Remember the Civic? With the high level of flux in the econobox segment of late, Honda’s little sedan and coupe have been somewhat overlooked. The current generation landed in the U.S. for 2006, so the car is just about due for a rework, which will appear in concept form at the 2011 Detroit show.

If Honda concepts of the recent past are any indicator, the production Civic—due in the spring of 2011 as a 2012—should look a lot like the little red number sketched here. And that means it will in turn look a lot like the current European Civic; this sketch shows a combination of the Euro car’s aggressive headlights and the wide-mouth grille on the current U.S. Civic. The lower fascia also gets angry, and there appear to be LED strips situated inboard of the fog lamps. And we’re hoping for more stylistic lightning bolts, à la 2011 Odyssey’s beltline.

As for what will power the new car, we expect a lineup of four-cylinder engines similar to the current car’s, as well as the return of the Civic hybrid. Look for more information—on the concept, at least—early next year.

Hot News: Honda Brio

Honda’s all-new small car will be christened the Brio. Showcased at the Auto Expo in Delhi earlier this year, Honda’s small car concept (codenamed 2CV), will compete against arch rival Toyota’s small car Etios.

Honda will showcase a prototype of the Brio, which will be very close to the production version, at the 27th Thailand International Motor Expo, starting November 30, 2010. Based on a completely new platform, the Brio will be an entry level compact car that will be four meters long with an engine similar or smaller to the 1.2-litre motor of the Jazz. Honda is working on a 3-cylinder version of the same motor, but without the VTEC technology.

Expected for an early 2011 launch, the ‘2CV’ will boast of cutting-edge technology that would help return good fuel economy. Honda is hopeful of producing a car that will be the most economical car in its segment. While Honda has completely denied a diesel engine for its small car, the company has hinted towards a Hybrid version of the '2CV', following feasibility reports.

Interior packaging on the car is expected to be in line with the Jazz, so expect it to be high on comfort and space. If Honda could price the Brio competitively – unlike the Jazz – it could have a winner in its hands. Fitted with safety features like ABS and Airbags, Honda wants to tactfully price the Brio and has set a price target of under Rs 5lakh. Let's hope they achieve it!

New Car: 2012 Honda Brio

Is there room for a Honda hatchback smaller than the Fit? Perhaps not here in North America, but abroad, particularly in countries like India and Thailand, demand for an A-segment vehicle exists. To help fill the gaps and expand Honda's worldwide reach, the company is working to ready the new Brio hatchback for Asian markets.

Look familiar? It should, if you happened to lay eyes on the New Small Car concept, which debuted at the New Delhi Auto Expo held this January. The production intent Brio -- still dubbed a prototype by Honda officials at this stage -- looks quite a bit like the show car, save for the lack of tricked-out headlamps, flush door handles, wild wheels, and the typical conceptual flourishes.

The Brio may bear some resemblance to the global Fit/Jazz model line, but is much smaller. At 142.1 inches in length, the Brio is more than a foot shorter than the already compact Fit, while its width and height measure in at 66.1 and 58.1 inches, respectively. Honda claims passenger volume is maximized, (there's reportedly room for five adults within), thanks to strategic placement of mechanical components. We've yet to hear just what powertrain Honda packs in this mighty mite, but we wouldn't be surprised if it uses an engine smaller than the 1.5-liter I-4 found in U.S.-spec Fit models.

Thus far, Honda has committed to offering the Brio in both India and Thailand -- but seeing as both markets have two differing sets of customer needs and expectations, Honda will alter content, trim, and powertrain choices to suit. In India, the Brio will be positioned as an eco-friendly vehicle, while Honda plans on selling it as a basic, affordable vehicle in India.

Thai-spec Brio models are expected to roll into showrooms by March 2011, carrying a price tag of roughly $13,000 USD. Pricing for Indian Brio models has yet to be announced, but Honda plans on introducing that variant later in 2011. Should pricing remain affordable, the Brio may quickly become a credible competitor to the likes of the Nissan Micra, Ford Figo, and Suzuki Maruti, and help Honda further expand its global presence.

Honda Civic 1.8 i-VTEC 2011 price

Honda is now close busy finalizing the production of the new Civic 2012, but not to reduce interest in the existing model range, has released a version of Honda Civic 1.8 i-VTEC, which goes on sale early next year.

Power of the car will remain the same (140 horsepower), but in the standard appeared much more options and equipment. The engine has reduced fuel consumption at 6.7 liters. 100 km, with CO2 emissions in the range 155 g / km, with six-speed with manual or five-speed automatic transmission.
